What’s SUP?

Have you ever wanted to try Stand Up Paddleboarding?  Do you know what an amazing full body workout Stand Up Paddleboarding truly is?

Koru’s beginner Stand Up Paddleboarding fitness classes are the perfect way to learn how to Stand Up Paddleboard, get a full body workout, and enjoy the sun and surf. Stand Up Paddleboarding classes will be held in the warm, shallow waters of the Pamlico sound on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in July. The classes are from 10am to 12pm and are $30 for Koru members, $40 for non-members, or 3 classes for $90. The equipment is perfectly designed for Stand Up Paddleboarding beginners, and before you know it, you will be ready to ride the surf or enjoy long distance paddling on the calm waters of the Pamlico Sound! Koru’s Stand Up Paddleboarding Classes are a wonderful combination of fun, exercise, and enriching yourself with Hatteras Island’s natural beauty.
