Koru Set to Host Birthday Party to celebrate 5 great years on Hatteras Island!

Spa Koru has been the premier health and wellness facility on Cape Hatteras for 5 years now, and that deserves a celebration! Every member, guest, friend and local is invited Thursday, May 27, 2010, to an all day Open House & Party on the Koru campus! The gym & classes will be FREE to the public all day, and there will be special Zumba & Yoga classes for those wanting to try something new. There will be a Rock Wall provided by Kitty Hawk Kites from 3-5PM in the front parking lot, and the party starts at 5PM with live music and FREE food!

Koru knows the importance of fitness and health in order to live a better life, and they are encouraging everyone to come and give that lifestyle a try. Much like Koru, Kitty Hawk Kites believes in an active lifestyle. They have donated their Rock Wall from 3-5PM for anyone looking for a higher challenge. The party will start at 5PM with food provided by the Catering Co. of Hatteras Island. Enjoy some healthy eats while listening to the live band Frisco Jubilee.

This month Koru is unveiling some major changes that are happening on their campus. These include the completion of three new villas, as well as a new name for their property, Koru Village; a Wellness & Adventure Community. The Birthday Party will certainly be a celebration of many things, and a chance for everyone to see all the changes that are coming from Koru.

“Over the past few years Spa Koru has grown at a remarkable rate. I am so excited to be a part of this evolution, and to celebrate 5 years of improving people’s lives,” says Director Grace Souter.
