Women’s Get-A-Ways at Spa Koru

Spa Koru has had the pleasure over the years to host many girlfriend get-a-way weekends here on our campus.  Many of the same groups of women come back year after year for the pampering, relaxation, and intimate time they are able to spend together.  Today we had a really great group of women who made their second trip back to Spa Koru.  They are real “ya-yas,” and we had a pleasure hosting them!  They started off the day with a private Yoga Class with our Yoga Director Tami Thompson, then they promptly headed down to the Spa and Salon to get various massages, pedicures & facials.  They also ordered lunch from The Catering Company of Hatteras Island to enjoy in our meditation lounge while waiting for their services.  These women sure know how to live it up!  If you have a group of girlfriends that are considering a vacation to Hatteras Island consider Spa Koru to help make the experience even more memorable!

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Haulover Day Area: Held in the warm shallow waters of the Pamlico Sound this class is a perfect way for beginners to learn stand up paddle boarding and get a great workout with family and friends. *Please register in advance for this class by calling 252-995-3125.$40/class, $30/class for members or 3 classes for $90

Spa Koru Studio: Instructor: Terri Mohnal High energy total body workout combines athletic aerobic movements with easy to follow choreography and strength exercises to improve your overall fitness. Have fun and get your weekend off to a great start!
