Thai Massage Master & Spring Cleaning

Spa Koru has been very fortunate this week.  We had Thai Massage/ Shiatsu Master, Gregg Steinberger, on our Campus this week giving employees a special Thai Massage.  Gregg is an amazing individual who we have had the privilege this week to get to know, and share in his time.  Gregg has spent several years in Thailand studying with some of the world’s greatest living Thai Massage Masters.  Gregg has just returned from 5 exciting & educational months in Thailand in 2008/09 focusing on studying many new side lying position techniques.  Gregg has created his own unusual style combining both Traditional Thai Massage & Macrobiotic Barefoot Shiatsu techniques.

Traditional Thai Massage/Macrobiotic Shiatsu resembles Yoga on the body while applying acupressure techniques.  The work involves gentle to deep stretches, breath work, organ detoxification, and advanced point techniques.

Thai Massage/ Shiatsu can balance the Chi, clear energy blockages, increase flexibility, improve circulation and overall health, and assist with various health concerns.

Gregg’s inspired & eclectic work is highly sought after all over the Southeast, as he has now been practicing this work for over 17 years.   Spa Koru has been very thankful to share this time with Gregg and build a relationship.  His wisdom and positive energy has been our burst of sun this rainy winter.

Spa Koru Spring Cleaning!

Spa Koru needs some tightening up a bit before our big season hits!  Please take note on the Events Calendar that Spa Koru will be Closed Friday February 26 – Sunday February 28. You may have noticed some machines being a bit out of tune, so we appreciate your patience while we tend to these matters at the end of the Month!  March 1 Spa Koru will be sparkling clean and ready for members, guests, and friends once again!  We thank you all for understanding!
