Spa Koru Blog

You Bet Your Asana

January is coming to a close this weekend, and while racking my brain for a great blog topic I could not stop thinking about all the amazing things that are happening this year at Spa Koru.  The momentum is palpable, and I don’t think our business is the only one feeling it! With 29 days into a bright new year, Spa Koru’s resolutions are still at the forefront of the Krew’s minds.   Our campus is changing and growing so much that we can’t help but be excited for twenty ten, & want to share our enthusiasm with so many of our members, guests & friends.

One of our resolutions this year was to show more appreciation to the amazing locals that keep us going all winter long.  With the start of our Love our Locals Campaign we have drastically reduced membership fees with the Dollar Days Special.  This of course is ending when January does, but we have loved getting to know so many new members this month that have joined because it was such an amazing offer!

When February starts we will be introducing Local Night, where any local can come in Wednesday night’s from 5-8 and use the fitness center for free!  It is a great opportunity to meet our community, and catch the Spa Koru bug that so many individuals have already discovered!

Another resolution for 2010 was to get our idea of Kamp Koru off and running!  We are so excited to introduce a variety of Kamps geared toward adult, women adventure seekers – that are looking for a get-a-way with the girls!  The Kamps are held on our campus & we provide accommodations, food, a spa treatment, and recreational activity.  The Kamps recreational aspect is focused on Yoga, surfing, standup paddle boarding, fitness, hiking, kayaking & biking!  They are a great opportunity for women to come together and try something they would not usually do, bond, and come out of it with a refreshed, positive perception on life!

Yoga is another amazing facet of Spa Koru, and one we certainly did not overlook in our resolutions.  SKY (Spa Koru Yoga) is growing tremendously as more people have come to experience the power Yoga has in helping every aspect of life!  No matter what you do, Yoga can make it better.   With the anticipation of Yoga on the Beach, and more classes in 2010 we can’t wait to practice with more Yogis than ever!

Just an FYI that are having an amazing Valentines Get-a-way special with Villas, Yoga, Champage, & Chocolate.  So let your chakras & chocolate collide with this indulgent lovebird weekend!  Book two nights in our Villas, get the third night FREE, and enjoy a Couple Yoga Class Saturday February 15 to focus on the mind, body & heart.

So is Spa Koru going to be the place everyone is talking about in 2010?

You bet your asana we are.
